Bike and Brunch
A mostly single Jewish bicycling group from late 20’s to late 50’s age range. (Concentrated in mid 30’s to mid 40’s.) Weekly rides on Sundays with lunch afterwards. Fall and Spring weekend trips to different areas within a 4 hour drive of DC. Monthly happy hours and an annual party in January. Several marriages have occurred from this group including my own!

A bipartisan, social and community service organization open to all Capitol Hill staffers regardless of religion. Provides cultural, educational, and social experiences around Judaism for Jewish Congressional Staffers.

Washington/Baltimore's biggest group for Jewish young professionals and singles of all ages. JSSN offers programs that are social, recreational, holiday celebrations, cultural and educational activities. Events include monthly happy hours, hikes, bike rides, embassy and museum events, gallery receptions, film nights, pool parties, dances, game nights, club parties, Shabbat dinners, potlucks, sailing, cruises, day trips, community service projects, networking, coffee houses, sing-alongs, wine tasting, lectures, mixers, book discussion groups, Judaic learning, and more. Currently not that active. Sometimes JSSN does joint events with other groups in the area.

Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Club of Maryland
The Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Club of Maryland is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a way for Jewish people to meet and enjoy outdoor activities together, while at the same time promoting an awareness, interest and understanding of the importance of preserving our natural environment. Outings, hikes, biking, climbing, etc. activities for greater Baltimore-Washington area and mostly singles, 21+. The membership of this chapter extends from Lancaster, Pa. to Richmond, VA. and from Annapolis to Frederick, MD. Many members live in the District, Baltimore, their respective suburbs and the corridor connecting them. Mostly singles attend-however couples are included, as well. I have been a member of this group and I have many friends in the DC Chapter. It’s a very nice and down to earth group of people.
