Bike and Brunch
A mostly single Jewish bicycling group from late 20’s to late 50’s age range. (Concentrated in mid 30’s to mid 40’s.) Weekly rides on Sundays with lunch afterwards. Fall and Spring weekend trips to different areas within a 4 hour drive of DC. Monthly happy hours and an annual party in January. Pros in the City-DC
Hundreds of events each year from speed dating to wine-tasting. There are varied activities that are broken down by age groups : 21 to 29, 25 to 45 and 35 plus. 70% of the attendees are single. (There is a separate group for Baltimore.)

Face to Face Singles: They have parties with hors d'oeuvres and dancing to music with a DJ every five to eight weeks on Sunday evenings at Tragara's restaurant in Bethesda, Maryland. An upscale crowd with most participants are 35 to 55 years old. I do know someone who met her husband at a dance.

Whether you want to practice your steps or learn new ones, come to the Hollywood Ballroom where they play a variety of music from Top 40 to measured ballroom. This ballroom offers social dancing for both singles and couples four nights a week. A complementary dance lesson is taught an hour before each dance.

Ski Club of DC
Don’t let the name fool you. This is a club for all seasons. Tennis, biking, sailing, hiking, and of course skiing are some of the sports this club organizes around. Northern Virginia Single Parents Social Network
This is a social group for Single Parents in the Northern Virginia that organizes events that are kid/family oriented and adult nights out. Events include going to museums, picnics for the kids and for the adults a night out dancing in Adams Morgan, going to the movies, playing board games or happy hours. Adults range from roughly 30’s to 50’s. Children range from roughly 2 years to 20 years old. Their median age range for kids is about 7-8 years old.
